Quick Start Guide
Welcome to CONTEC Industrial IoT Platform! This guide will help you get started with our M2M Gateway and Controller solutions.
What You'll Need
- CONPROSYS M2M Gateway or Controller device
- Power supply (24VDC typically)
- Ethernet connection
- Web browser for configuration
Step 1: Physical Setup
- Connect Power: Use 24VDC power supply (typically)
- Connect Ethernet: Connect to your local network
- Connect Sensors/Devices: Connect your industrial devices via supported protocols
Step 2: Network Configuration
Access the device web interface:
- Default IP:
192.168.1.1 - Username:
admin - Password: Check device label
Step 3: Device Discovery
The M2M Gateway will automatically discover connected devices using:
- Modbus RTU/TCP
- BACnet
- IO-Link
- And more...
Step 4: Data Visualization
Configure dashboards to monitor:
- Real-time sensor data
- Equipment status
- Alerts and notifications
Next Steps
- Configure cloud connectivity (Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT)
- Set up data logging and analytics
